About the operations Ward 51 is a PIVA, a psychiatric care ward for particularly care-intensive patients. Our mission at the clinic therefore often consists of caring for patients who receive care under various forms of compulsory care. Often this can involve interventions that occur against the patient's will. This places high demands on personal suitability but also that you are physically capable and confident in your professional role. Nursing Assistants for the Acute Care Pool, Örnsköldsvik

About the Operations In the acute care pool, nursing assistants work on our three different medical units within the Northern Primary Care Area; MAVA/cardiac unit, Kidney/hematology unit, and Stroke/rehabilitation unit. As a nursing assistant in the acute care pool, you will be scheduled to cover absences on the respective units. In the acute care pool there are 12 employees who all work on all units, but have a home unit, and if you are not scheduled on a day, it is your home unit where you work. We are constantly working to improve and develop our operations and patient safety; competency development and work environment are some of the issues we value highly. Medical acute care is a broad field where you will learn a great deal about many different medical conditions and diagnoses. We are now seeking 7 nursing assistants for the acute care pool on a full-time basis. 5 of the positions are permanent appointments and 2 of the positions are temporary assignments. Start date is by agreement. Job Duties In the acute care pool, the work is varied as you work on three units with three different focuses. Upon employment in the acute care pool, you will have a 6-week orientation before you start working independently. We have a preference schedule with periods of approximately 12 weeks per period which gives you an opportunity to choose how you want to work to a certain extent. The job includes performing standard nursing assistant tasks as well as patient monitoring. You will work in a team with, among others, nurses, doctors, physiotherapists and occupational therapists.
