You also participate in production planning, inventories, and warehouse monitoring, and administer items and transactions in SAP Business One. Additionally, you work with safety data sheets, product information, and documentation related to chemical legislation and other regulatory requirements. We Are Looking for You You have post-secondary education in logistics, Supply Chain Management, industrial economics, or equivalent work experience. You take great personal responsibility, work independently, and drive your tasks forward in a solution-oriented manner. Since you will be a central part of a smaller organization, it is also important that you are flexible, collaborative, and enjoy an environment where people help each other and contribute beyond your direct area of responsibility. Account Executive | Defence & Security Carmenta | Göteborg
Are you passionate about complex B2B sales in an industry where every deal truly matters? Have you worked in defence and government environments and understand the processes, patience, and precision required to succeed? Are you ready to take ownership of one of Carmenta's most important markets? Then this is your role! Your Role As an Account Executive - Defence & Security, you'll be the commercial spearhead towards defence customers in Sweden and the UK. You'll take over an established account with existing key relationships and be responsible for managing, deepening, and expanding them. Carmenta doesn't sell off-the-shelf products. The offering is a niche software product (an SDK) that system integrators and defence actors embed into their own platforms to visualize and analyze map images and situational pictures in defence systems. This means you need to understand what your customer's product should do, not just what your own product is. It's complex sales with long cycles, technical weight, and high demands on trust. You work closely with Carmenta's Customer Success function, which supports you in technical dialogues and ensures the customer receives the right depth of support. Your task is to build relationships, open doors, drive the process forward, and close deals. You are the hub and responsible for ensuring your market thrives and that business grows. Your Profile We're looking for someone with solid experience in sales to or within the defence industry. You don't need to be the loudest person in the room. You should be the one who listens best. The person who gets the customer to tell you about their challenges, and then can translate that into a concrete solution, with the right internal resources by your side. You are patient, structured, and experienced in working with CRM tools to keep a complex pipeline organized. To succeed in this role, you should have the following qualifications: - Documented experience in complex B2B sales, preferably of software solutions or technical systems. - Good understanding of the defence industry's structure, processes, and decision-making pathways. - Experience with long sales cycles and formal procurement processes. - Ability to communicate technical solutions at different levels—from product owners and software managers to decision-makers. - Experience working structured with CRM tools, such as Salesforce. - Based in Göteborg. Merits: - Background from FMV, Försvarsmakten, or Swedish defence-related organizations. - Established network within the defence industry. - Experience selling to or via system integrators such as Saab, Thales, or similar. - Academic degree in engineering, business development, or military leadership (KTH, Chalmers, or FHS). What You Become Part of Carmenta is a niche software company founded in 1985 with a long history of delivering advanced geospatial solutions to defence and security organizations worldwide. With a team of just over 50 people and offices in Göteborg, Stockholm, France, Germany, and the USA, Carmenta is a globally niche company in strong and stable growth. The culture is characterized by deep technical expertise, high delivery standards, and a genuinely helpful internal environment. Here you don't get a place in an anonymous large sales team; you get ownership, trust, and colleagues who truly know their stuff. Application This recruitment process is handled by Jefferson Wells on Carmenta's behalf, which means you will be hired directly by Carmenta. Selection and interviews take place on an ongoing basis, starting in week 32. We welcome your application!
