Teacher of Craft at Innovitaskolan St Jörgen grades 4-9 Join us in developing the school together in teams with students, colleagues, and principal. Innovitaskolan St Jörgen is a preschool–9 school with approximately 560 students. The school consists of two classes in lower and middle grades and three classes in upper grades. The school's organization is based on grade-level teams, where middle-grade teachers jointly manage all students in their team. The student welfare team works closely with the teams with a clear focus on preventive and developmental measures. Our mission is to create a safe and developmental learning environment that gives every student the best possible conditions to succeed—today and in the future. We are now seeking an experienced teacher qualified to teach the craft subject. Close and unpretentious collaboration At the school, we work in teams around each grade level. We place great emphasis on your pedagogical expertise and our shared relational approach. To give students the best possible conditions, we have organized support through half-class lessons and periods with a two-teacher system. This places high demands on your ability to collaborate; you are expected to jointly plan and structure instruction to utilize these extra resources so that each student progresses as far as possible in their development. Through regular team meetings and subject conferences, we analyze our teaching. Here we work collegially to create an inspiring, varied, and engaging learning environment.
