G Tech Vulk is seeking two vulkanizing technicians. One position is entirely workshop-based. The other varies between workshop and assignments at customer sites. You will be an important part of a small specialist team working closely with the mining and process industry. Two positions with different specializations 1. Vulkanizing Technician, 100% Workshop You work at G Tech Vulk's workshop in Gällivare with rubber coating, wear protection, preparations, vulcanization, and quality control. The role suits you if you appreciate a fixed workplace, practical precision work, and clear workflows. 2. Vulkanizing Technician, Workshop and Field The role is on average approximately 50/50 between workshop and field, but variations are significant. Some weeks can be entirely at customer sites and others entirely in the workshop. B driver's license is a requirement You must be able to communicate fluently in Swedish or English Hot Work, fall protection training, bridge crane certificate, forklift certificate, and SSG training are merits but not requirements Work underground or at heights is not a general requirement Working hours and variety Regular working hours are weekdays from 07.00-15.30. Travel with overnight stays normally does not occur. If an assignment requires an overnight stay, you will be informed well in advance. During certain planned maintenance stops, for example at LKAB or Aitik, longer workdays or work outside regular hours may occur. This is planned and coordinated in advance.
