Your Role As an Occupational Health & Safety Developer, you play an important role in developing and strengthening occupational health and safety work at Aitik. You work closely with the operations and collaborate with managers, employees, and safety representatives to create a safe, sustainable, and well-functioning workplace. By combining analysis, training, and development work, you contribute to developing work methods, strengthening safety culture, and translating occupational health and safety requirements into practical solutions. Your Team You will be part of Aitik's central occupational health and safety section where employees are responsible for different specialist areas and work together to create a safe and sustainable workplace. You will work independently in your role and collaborate with, among others, managers, employees, safety representatives, and other support functions. Your Responsibilities Project lead and implement occupational health and safety development projects. Support managers and operations in risk assessments and root cause analysis related to occupational health and safety, as well as systematic occupational health and safety work. Plan and conduct training sessions. Analyze statistics, incidents, and events to identify areas for improvement. Develop work methods, procedures, and instructions within the occupational health and safety area. Manage and further develop work methods and provide training in the internal incident reporting system. Develop our safety culture work. Ensure compliance with occupational health and safety legislation and other relevant requirements. Part of the role involves providing occupational health and safety support to Aitik's support and service departments. Your Contribution As a person, you are analytical and structured with strong communication skills. You are attentive and supportive in your collaboration with others while contributing fresh perspectives and driving improvements forward. You build trusting relationships, take responsibility for your tasks, and translate analyses and ideas into practical solutions that create value for the business. Requirements: Relevant university or college education, or equivalent experience that has given you comparable knowledge. Strong communication skills and the ability to express yourself well in Swedish and English, both orally and in writing. Good IT and system proficiency. Category B driver's license. It is a merit if you have Experience in systematic occupational health and safety work or occupational health and safety development. Experience in project management or business development. Experience in risk assessments, root cause analyses, or improvement work. Experience from industry, mining operations, production, or process industry. Experience in training, supporting, or coaching others. Familiarity with interpreting legal requirements, regulations, or other governing documents. Your role As an occupational health and safety coordinator, you become an important support in daily operations with a focus on occupational health and safety. You work closely with managers, safety representatives, and employees, primarily out in production. The work alternates between site visits, risk monitoring and support for ongoing cases, while you contribute to planning and developing occupational health and safety work. In this role, you gain clear and independent responsibility for parts of our local occupational health and safety work. You ensure that routines are followed, serve as advisory support to managers, and are a natural point of contact for occupational health and safety matters. Over time, you may also gain greater coordination responsibility as you grow into the role. Examples of work tasks: Support managers operationally in occupational health and safety matters Handle and manage occupational health and safety cases independently Participate in risk assessments, safety rounds, and follow-ups Support investigations of accidents and incidents Coordinate and develop systematic occupational health and safety work (SAM) Collaborate with the safety organization and other internal functions What you bring You are someone who likes being close to operations while creating structure in occupational health and safety work. You take initiative, drive matters forward, build trust with both managers and employees, and adapt quickly to different situations and needs. Requirements: Upper secondary education Relevant experience in occupational health and safety, or alternatively work experience from mining, construction, or other heavy industry Administrative skills, including experience writing and updating procedure documents and working structured with documentation Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written Class B driver's license Meritorious: Post-secondary education in occupational health and safety and/or additional occupational health and safety training We look forward to your application!
