Exhibition Technician at Verket, Avesta Art and Avesta Football Museum We are now recruiting an exhibition technician to Verket in Avesta with a particular focus on lighting, sound, AV and digital technology. You'll work with everything from contemporary art and industrial history to events and the development of our upcoming football museum. Verket is a unique industrial historical environment and home to the international contemporary art initiative Avesta Art. In 2027, a new football museum will also open in Koppardalen. This means new exhibitions, new technology and new public experiences, and we're looking for you to help make it all work. About the Job As an exhibition technician, you'll work with technical production, installation, operation and maintenance at Verket, Avesta Art and the football museum. Your particular area of expertise is lighting, sound, AV and digital technology. You'll work alongside Verket's head technician, who has overall responsibility for technical exhibition production. You'll participate in production, assembly, installation and minor construction work, while also working independently within your technical field. The work is practical, varied and sometimes quite far from a traditional workplace. Verket is a large-scale industrial environment from the 1880s where installations may need to be solved under unusual conditions. The football museum is currently being built in old industrial premises. The work may therefore involve both physical labor and working at heights.
