Project Manager Electrical & Automation – Avesta Operations (PMO) Outokumpu Avesta is growing – and now we're looking for a technically strong project manager who wants to drive our investment projects in Electrical & Automation. With us, you'll have a central role in developing, modernizing, and future-proofing our production through qualified maintenance initiatives and facility modifications. This is a role for someone who thrives close to operations, enjoys being out on the plant floor, and wants to drive projects from early feasibility studies through final delivery. You'll be the one bringing it all together – technically, financially, and schedule-wise. About the Role As Project Manager Electrical & Automation, you'll lead technical projects related to production equipment, including re-investments, modernizations, and process technology upgrades. You'll be responsible for the entire project lifecycle: from feasibility study through implementation and closeout. You'll work closely with maintenance, production, and external stakeholders. You'll provide expert support in Electrical & Automation across the organization during feasibility studies, procurements, and project execution. You'll among other things: Drive technical feasibility studies, needs analyses, and develop requirement specifications Lead projects according to Outokumpu's project methodology Own the budget, scope, and schedule Coordinate and lead internal specialists and external suppliers Follow up on deliverables, including FAT/SAT, risk analyses, and technical decisions Ensure projects are executed according to our safety and quality requirements The role is operations-focused – you'll spend considerable time on the plant floor, engaging with technicians, maintenance, and production teams to ensure projects work in practice. Part of Avesta PMO You'll be positioned centrally in the organization within Asset Management & Investments, as part of Outokumpu Avesta's Project Management Office (PMO), our shared project office.
