About Fredahuset Fredahuset AB operates sheltered housing for individuals and families affected by violence in close relationships and honor-related violence and oppression, with operations in the Mälardalen region. We currently have approximately ten employees who together create conditions for people to live a life free from violence. We have a special focus on children, and families with children are our primary target group. We are growing now and want to expand our team! About the Role As a manager, you have overall responsibility for one of our shelters – for quality, work environment, and daily operations. You lead and support staff, ensure that we comply with applicable regulations, and are a trustworthy, clear manager. You report to management and work closely with social services and other authorities. Your Responsibilities ● Personnel and work management for the shelter's employees, including scheduling, employee meetings, and competence development ● Responsibility for assessments and admissions and discharges of new clients in consultation with social services ● Quality assurance of documentation, risk assessments, and safety planning ● Ensure that operations meet IVO's requirements and applicable regulations ● Budget and profit responsibility for the shelter ● Be a support and sounding board for staff in difficult situations and cases ● Support and safety conversations, conduct risk assessments, and provide practical support to clients Who We're Looking For As a person, you are empathetic, structured, calm, and clear, with the ability to make decisions even under pressure. ● You meet IVO's requirements for suitability and competence as a manager of sheltered housing ● You have relevant higher education (minimum 180 credits) and experience with the target group ● You have experience with personnel responsibility and work management ● You have good knowledge of the Social Services Act and relevant regulations ● You have a B-class driver's license and access to a car ● Very good ability to express yourself in speech and writing in Swedish ● It is an advantage if you have knowledge in MI and SARA/PATRIARK.
