In your role as a special education teacher, you'll primarily be responsible for teaching in small groups, though individual instruction may also occur. For some students, a smaller setting during a period can be crucial for development and well-being. Through close collaboration with colleagues on the team, you'll work to challenge students in their learning and support them in developing their knowledge toward set goals. In addition to planning, implementing, and evaluating instruction, you'll work with colleagues to develop teaching based on prioritized development areas and the unit's improvement efforts. You'll work closely with teachers, student support teams, and the principal to increase goal achievement and foster a love of learning. What are we looking for in you? We're looking for a trained special education teacher, preferably with a specialization in learning disabilities (IF) and/or qualification to teach upper primary students. You have experience in teaching and work with student development and learning as your focus. We appreciate experience working in introduction programs with students who need additional support and knowledge of inclusive learning environments. Experience with special education work and knowledge of various functional variations are merits. As a person, you enjoy collaborating with others and developing together with students and colleagues. You're confident in your teaching role, flexible, and solution-focused, with the ability to adapt instruction to students' needs. You enjoy working closely with students in small groups where relationships, structure, and trust are important parts of learning. As a person, you're communicative, creative, and open to thinking in new ways and trying new approaches together with others. We place great importance on personal suitability.
