Qualifications
In addition to the personal qualities we seek and describe, you must meet basic requirements to be qualified for the position:
be at least 18 years old before starting the assignment
have upper secondary education
speak and write Swedish well
have a driver's license category B
You must also be of good character*, drug-free, have your finances in order, and be in good health and physical condition to be employed at Avarn Security. It is advantageous if you also have approved security guard and/or protective security training.
Before employment becomes relevant, a legal compliance assessment will be conducted. * All personnel at an authorized security company must be approved in an assessment regarding legal compliance, civic reliability, and suitability in other respects. For the approving authority's assessment of a person's legal compliance and civic reliability, information from the criminal record register or suspicion register, or information handled by the Security Police under the Police Data Processing Act within the scope of the criminal data law, will be obtained.
We're looking for you who can step in when needed!
Maybe you're studying or have another job, but want to work extra sometimes? We're looking for people who can consider working different times of day – weekdays, weekends, and public holidays.
If you have the right profile for Avarn and move forward in the process but don't already have the required training (VU1, VU2), we'll cover your training! Security guard training (VU1, 9 days) is conducted at BYA Bevakningsbranschens Yrkes- och Arbetsmiljönämnd. Participation in this training is a requirement for employment.
We offer salary according to the collective agreement between Security Companies and the Swedish Transport Workers' Union.
