Treatment Educator - Domestic Violence and Honor-Based Violence

We provide housing and support to individuals who, for various reasons, need safety, structure, and professional care. Our services include secure residential facilities, supported housing (both secure and non-secure) for young people, and family emergency care homes. We primarily work with target groups such as: * Individuals needing protection due to domestic violence * Individuals needing protection due to honor-based violence * Individuals unable to live at home due to conflict-ridden or otherwise inadequate home conditions Our goal is to create a trustful and motivating everyday life in a home-like and safe environment, with a care chain characterized by structure, continuity, and qualified staff. Here, there is space for the individual's experiences, feelings, and processes with the aim of strengthening their self-esteem, independence, and trust in the future. We work to provide our residents with individualized tools and support in their development based on their age, background, and specific needs. This could include support in processing difficult experiences, developing strategies for daily life, and exploring their identity and resources. In close collaboration with each individual, we strive to create conditions for a safe and independent life with increased participation, self-determination, and the opportunity to make active choices for their own future. The Role The position involves work at our supported housing facility (working with young people aged 16-21), secure residential facilities (adults and accompanying children), and support for family emergency care homes—all parts of our care chain. As a treatment educator, you work according to current procedures and guidelines as well as the residents' individual needs and wishes to plan and carry out interventions. The role is varied, and as a treatment educator, you are responsible in daily work for meeting and working with clients in a safe, stable, and professional manner. In our operations, we work from a pedagogical and low-arousal approach. Together with colleagues and supervisors, you work to create meaningful and enriching days with a focus on building an independent everyday life even after the placement ends. Work tasks include case management, client work, care and safety planning, contact with authorities, and documentation. The work also includes daily tasks and activities that contribute to a safe, structured, and pleasant living environment, such as household chores. You support and guide on matters related to meals, exercise, cleaning, finances, leisure interests, school contact, and communication. The role also includes planning, following up, and documenting interventions based on current care and implementation plans. Qualifications It is very positive if you have documented education and experience in the areas of domestic violence, honor-based violence, and working with people in crisis. It is also a great advantage if you have experience working with children who have witnessed or been exposed to violence. Training in TMO, MI, FREDA, SARA, Trappansamtal, and PATRIARK as well as language skills (beyond Swedish and English) are also merits. Appellate Court Prosecutor – Special Judge Training Program (Cohort 3, 2026)

The Court of Appeal for Western Sweden is the second largest of the country's six appellate courts. The Court's primary responsibility is to hear cases and matters appealed from the district courts within the Court's jurisdiction. The Court is organized with four judicial divisions and one administrative division. Approximately 150 people work at the Court. The Court is located in central Gothenburg. 4 position(s). The Judge Training Program offers a unique opportunity to acquire comprehensive knowledge and experience across various areas of law. Choosing a career as a judge means that you will daily contribute to a democratic and lawful society where you work to ensure everyone's right to have their case heard in an independent and impartial court. About the Position The training position normally spans four years and begins with one year of service as an appellate court prosecutor. As an appellate court prosecutor, you will present cases and prepare proposed judgments and decisions, as well as keep records during main hearings. After that, you will serve as a district court prosecutor for two years at one of the district courts within the Court's jurisdiction. As a district court prosecutor, you will handle and decide cases and matters both independently and together with other judges at the district court. During this service, you will typically also supervise notaries. After the district court service, you will return to the appellate court for one year of adjunct service. You will then serve as a member and participate in collegial decisions. Throughout the entire training position, you will receive guidance from experienced, regular judges and participate in a theoretical training program provided by the Court Academy. In addition, we offer a number of internal training sessions and study visits. After completing and passing the adjunct year, you will be appointed as an appellate court assessor, and the special judge training program will be completed. Qualifications We are looking for someone who has completed notary training according to the Notary Ordinance (1990:469) with excellent grades and has Swedish citizenship and meets the other requirements set out in Chapter 4, Section 1 of the Code of Judicial Procedure. Excellent legal knowledge and analytical ability combined with a very good ability to prioritize are required. You express yourself clearly, concisely, and correctly both verbally and in writing. We are looking for someone with great maturity, integrity, and excellent judgment. As a person, you are receptive to others' opinions, have excellent communication skills, and enjoy collaborating with others.
