Nurses for the New Evening and Weekend Clinic Service, Skåne
Make a difference. Every day. Are you a registered nurse with experience? Do you want to be part of the beginning of our journey establishing the Evening and Weekend Clinic Service Skåne? We started in May this year and two-thirds of our team are in place, but we need a few more colleagues—take this opportunity and submit your application today! Evening and Weekend Clinic Service Skåne (KHM Skåne) is a further development of our current ten local evening and weekend clinics in Region Skåne. By establishing KHM Skåne, we want to improve and simplify access to acute, unplanned primary care for Skåne residents in the evenings and on weekends. For this reason, we are centralizing telephone triage and appointment booking for our evening and weekend clinics. KHM Skåne's mission consists of two parts, and as a nurse you will have the opportunity to work within both. One part consists of centralized triage and advice via telephone, as well as booking appointments if you, as a nurse, assess that the patient needs clinical evaluation. The other part consists of KHM Skåne being our internal resource team where you work clinically at our local evening and weekend clinics in Region Skåne. Our central telephone unit is located in newly renovated and fresh premises at Skåne University Hospital (Sus) in Malmö, right by Södervärn. Since KHM Skåne's mission is to provide service regionally, we see the possibility for you as an employee to be based at one of our local evening and weekend clinics in Skåne. This is flexible depending on what works best for you and the operation. Since the development of the operation is gradual, it gives you the opportunity to be involved early on, influence, and develop our working methods and routines together with us. If you are curious about being part of this journey and want to know more about us, we welcome your application. 4 position(s). JOB RESPONSIBILITIES At our central telephone unit, you will work with advice and triage via telephone as well as booking appointments. In the clinical work at our local evening and weekend clinics, you will perform nursing tasks that are common in acute primary care such as clinic work, triage, and advice. We offer an exciting, fast-paced, and varied work where you get to start and influence a new operation while further developing your role as a nurse. When you start with us, you will receive an introduction to the different parts of the work, which we try to adapt based on your experience so that you can enter the operation in a safe and good way. Working hours are scheduled for evenings and weekends. If you are interested in a combined position, we see the possibility of offering work within 1177 or other suitable operations in the region that have needs. QUALIFICATIONS You like to take responsibility and make your own decisions based on your experience and given tools while valuing and handling teamwork well. You need to have an empathetic and attentive approach where the principle of equal treatment is fundamental to you. In addition, you have high readiness for action, excellent interpersonal skills, and can adjust your planning based on the situation, since the position involves different work tasks at different workplaces. In the work team, you create a good work climate through your commitment, curiosity, and positive attitude. We welcome you as a registered nurse with authorization to practice in Swedish healthcare and with a few years of experience in acute care or primary care. It is a merit if you have specialist training, are trained as a district nurse, or have previous experience with telephone advice and triage. Swedish language skills corresponding to at least level C1 according to the Council of Europe scale are required. We place great emphasis on personal suitability. We use continuous selection, so do not hesitate to submit your application today. We look forward to getting to know you! Our salary range is between 35,000 kronor—52,000 kronor.
