DUTIES We are now welcoming three nurses or pediatric nurses to our team at the Pediatric and Adolescent Medicine Department in Lund. As a nurse or pediatric nurse with us, you work to provide the child and family with the best possible care and treatment. During a typical day, you engage in tasks such as blood sampling, examinations, ward rounds, medication administration, and coordination with other professions. Since we are a department where we perform both acute and planned surgeries, you also work with pre- and postoperative care. As a new colleague with us, you receive an individually tailored introduction schedule of at least ten weeks where you, together with your supervisor, build a solid foundation and create conditions for you to feel secure in your new role. You are offered a training program in pediatric nursing during your first year. To strengthen your professional and personal development, we have unit-responsible nurses at the workplace.
