The assignments vary depending on your experience, specialized expertise, and ambitions, but include strength calculations, FEM analyses, model development, results evaluation, and technical recommendations to design and development teams. You will work on assignments with high demands for quality, precision, and technical understanding. For the right person, there is an opportunity to take greater technical responsibility, work on more business-critical projects, and influence both setup and direction over time. We are looking for someone who genuinely appreciates engineering and who prefers to spend time on qualified engineering work rather than internal administration and unnecessary overhead. Your Background We are looking for someone with academic training in mechanical engineering, vehicle engineering, engineering physics, or equivalent, and with at least 5 years of experience in structural analysis and FEM-based calculation work. You are accustomed to working independently, understand the role of analysis in the development chain, and can translate theory into practical value in complex project environments. You have likely worked with structural strength, dynamics, vibrations, fatigue, or similar issues and feel confident building, conducting, and interpreting analyses. You thrive in technical environments where expertise is highly valued and where you can contribute both specialized knowledge and judgment. Requirements - Master's degree or advanced technical degree in a relevant technical field - At least 5 years of experience in structural analysis and FEM - Good understanding of strength of materials and mechanics - Experience working on technically advanced development projects - Ability to work independently and take technical responsibility - Good communication skills - Proficiency in professional Swedish and/or English, both spoken and written Merits - Experience from defense industry, automotive industry, aerospace, or other advanced industries - Experience with tools such as Ansys, Abaqus, Nastran, HyperMesh, LS-DYNA, or similar - Knowledge in dynamics, vibrations, fatigue, crash, composites, or non-linear analyses - Programming experience in Python or Matlab - Experience in consulting roles or customer-facing technical work - Experience working in security-classified or regulatory-driven environments What We Offer We offer you the opportunity to work on qualified assignments in technically strong environments where your expertise is central. With us, you not only get access to interesting projects, but also flexibility in how you want to work and develop. We work long-term with senior engineers and want to create arrangements that work both professionally and personally. Additionally, you are offered: - Qualified assignments within technically advanced industry - Opportunity to influence what types of assignments you take - Flexibility in arrangements, such as employment, consulting solutions, or your own company - A long-term platform for continued development - Access to network, business opportunities, and relevant support around assignments - Market-competitive terms Location: Malmö and surrounding area Scope: Full-time or by agreement Working hours: According to assignment Salary: By agreement Start date: By agreement We work with matching senior engineering expertise to qualified assignments with companies in technically advanced industries. Our focus is on creating the right match between person, expertise, and assignment, rather than forcing candidates into standardized processes. Through our network and our understanding of both technology and business, we create opportunities for engineers who want to work on more qualified projects, with better terms and greater impact. For some, it's about the next really strong assignment. For others, it's about greater freedom or a step toward a more independent arrangement.

Work as a Homework Helper in Uppsala!

Want to make a difference? 19,700 students did not complete primary school in Sweden during the 2024/2025 school year. There are schools where 7 out of 10 students do not meet upper secondary school eligibility requirements. At the nonprofit Stiftelsen Läxhjälpen, you contribute your skills and commitment to help more students achieve eligibility requirements with confidence in their future. We are now recruiting new homework helpers in Uppsala! We are looking for someone interested in a paid part-time job while also making a concrete societal contribution. The position is an hourly contract for afternoons/evenings and involves being a homework helper after school at one of our partner schools. You work as part of a team of three homework helpers, all of whom are university students. You will receive training in and work according to our structured approach. Each homework help group consists of 15 students, and together with your colleagues, you are responsible for planning, implementing, and following up on the work. As a homework helper, you can either work as a regular homework helper or as a substitute. As a regular homework helper, you work 6 hours per week spread across two scheduled afternoons/evenings (opportunities for extra substitution shifts are available). As a substitute, you work when regular homework helpers are on leave or sick. The work is performed after school in the school's facilities. We are looking for someone who: - Is a university or college student - Has pedagogical ability and can communicate and build relationships with children and young people. - Is solution-oriented, takes initiative, and can work according to our structured approach and method. - Has broad fundamental subject competence and good study techniques. - Shares Stiftelsen Läxhjälpen's values and vision of a society where all children grow up with the conditions to succeed in school and shape their own future. Since the job involves working with children, we place great emphasis on personal suitability. Providing an extract from the police criminal record for the employer is a legal requirement for working with children and young people. Differences between schools, where you live, where you come from, and what your parents do increasingly determine how likely you are to succeed in school. Stiftelsen Läxhjälpen is a nonprofit foundation that operates where it is needed most. Homework help is free for students, and homework helpers' salaries are financed through support from the business sector and public sector. Homework help is a concrete measure that addresses one of Sweden's biggest problems today—more and more young people are not succeeding in school and risk being excluded from society. Carefully selected, paid university students help young people with their studies two evenings a week and are also positive role models and mentors. Since our start in 2007, we have developed a structured approach and a clear goal—to improve grades and help students advance to upper secondary school. We are currently present at over 90 schools in, among others, Stockholm, Södertälje, Västerås, Norrköping, Gothenburg, Landskrona, Umeå, Sundsvall, Uppsala, Gävle, and Malmö.
