Job Responsibilities At the unit, six physiotherapists work with disability services. Examples of projects we have initiated include training groups in gym and aquatic environments, training videos, education in transfer techniques in our operations, and initiatives to promote increased physical activity among a sedentary target group. Some of the diagnoses we work with include Down syndrome, cerebral palsy, various forms of intellectual disability, and neuropsychiatric diagnoses. We also work with acquired brain injuries and degenerative neurological diagnoses such as MS, ALS, and Huntington's disease. We provide physiotherapy interventions for musculoskeletal problems that may arise from the patient's underlying condition but also assess, investigate, and treat other conditions our patients experience. Our patient population requires a creative mindset where you will be challenged to push beyond conventional physiotherapy knowledge and methods. The Service Office provides technical and administrative services to administrations and companies in Borås City. Our operations include everything from facility and workshop services to data services, building and property services, payroll and accounting services, as well as telephone service and switchboard operations. The Service Office operates without municipal budget allocation, but works in a business-like manner according to a model with clients and service providers. Approximately 400 people work at the Service Office. About the operation Borås City's IT Department, Data Services, is responsible for the operations of the entire Borås City network.
