Systems Architect

As a technician, you will primarily work as a consultant but also provide internal support between assignments. Our customers' IT environments vary but primarily consist of Windows systems, though we believe in matching assignments to your expertise. If you have extensive experience in IT infrastructure, that's a plus, but you don't need to be fully proficient in all areas. We support each other to continue developing. Your Background As a Systems Architect, you are responsible for designing, implementing, and managing secure and business-critical IT environments. The role involves full responsibility for architecture, security, and operations, with a focus on high availability, redundancy, and compliance with regulations. You drive technical initiatives, improve processes, and serve as an advisory expert to both technical teams and the business. The role requires deep expertise in security architecture, IAM, and IT infrastructure, along with a proactive, solution-oriented, and collaborative approach. Key Responsibilities: Design & Architecture: Responsibility for architecture focused on segmentation, redundancy, and integration between high-security environments. Security: Implement IAM, Zero Trust strategies, and PKI, and ensure compliance with standards such as ISO 27001, NIST, and PMFS. Operations & Maintenance: Ensure optimal performance of servers and networks through patching, backup management, and proactive monitoring. Consultation & Support: Be a trusted point of contact for the customer. You provide calm in uncertain situations and can communicate technical decisions to both technicians and business leaders. Documentation & Process: Create and follow procedures. If a procedure is missing, you take the initiative to create one to strengthen the team and the customer. Personality Your personal approach is crucial to success in this role. You are a team player who actively supports your colleagues in digital channels and shares your knowledge. You have the ability to initiate complex troubleshooting independently but understand the value of the team's collective expertise. You are unpretentious, curious about new hardware and hardening, and always prioritize stability and security. Requirements: Design and implementation of security-classified/isolated environments. IT architecture (redundancy, high availability, segmentation). Identity and Access Management (IAM) and Zero Trust. Automation of architectural processes and infrastructure. Relevant regulations and requirements (e.g., PMFS, KSF, ISO 27001). Meritorious: Linux and Windows Server. Networking, virtualization, and Docker. Log management (Splunk/ELK) and monitoring.
