We are currently seeking substitute teachers for our wonderful preschool Vita Bergen on Södermalm in Stockholm. About the Role Pysslingen Vita Bergen is a personal and inspiring preschool located right next to Vitabergs Park on Södermalm. With us, you'll meet dedicated colleagues, wonderful groups of children, and a learning environment where outdoor education, movement, and creative activities play a major role. As a substitute teacher at Pysslingen Förskolor, you will work with children ages 1-5 in various groups. The need may include both short-term absences with the possibility of longer-term temporary positions as needed. This means flexible work where your availability determines your schedule. Your tasks will include carrying out activities both indoors and especially outdoors, as well as assisting permanent staff with practical tasks. If hired as a substitute teacher, you must be able to step in as a substitute on short notice when permanent staff are absent. This requires you to be responsible and have strong flexibility skills, as the work means you must quickly adapt to new environments. You have good knowledge of the Swedish language and should be comfortable both collaborating and working independently within a team, and have the ability to contribute to a well-functioning operation together with your colleagues. We're Looking for You If You Have a high school diploma or other relevant education. Are proactive and have good collaboration skills. Believe that every encounter is meaningful. Are curious and collaborative in learning. Want to learn together with the children. Have a warm demeanor, are attentive and respectful. Keep the assignment and the children in focus. It is advantageous if you have a diploma as a childcare provider and/or previous experience working in a preschool. Employment Type The position is a general fixed-term employment with hourly wages.
