What we are looking for: We are now seeking a Special Education Teacher with a focus on reading and writing at Vittra Luma Park, with the ability to engage each student based on their individual circumstances and work with support measures and adaptations. Along with good collaboration with existing teachers and becoming part of the teaching team. As a Special Education Teacher with us, you will be an important part of the student health team and in the development of our student health work when we plan interventions for students. Your assignment includes both investigative and developmental work with emphasis on preventive and health-promoting measures. Through your role, you contribute to ensuring that our students in need of special support receive individually adapted and inclusive treatment and measures that lead to increased goal achievement. Planning and implementing instruction with students who have more extensive support needs. In the investigative work, you shall, within your area of expertise, among other things: - Assist in carrying out in-depth pedagogical assessments - Plan instruction and implementation of measures based on assessments conducted - Provide support in follow-up and evaluation work based on assessments conducted In the developmental work, you shall, within your area of expertise, among other things: - Assist the school's educators and teaching teams - Have good knowledge of digital tools - Provide support in analysis work at the individual, group, and organizational levels - Contribute to creating good learning environments for all students, with focus on individual, group, and organizational levels The work also includes you as a Special Education Teacher making targeted, individual interventions for students in need. At Vittra, you work closely with the school's teaching team, and we therefore seek someone interested in participating and contributing to collaborative professional learning. Through communication and taking responsibility, you help create a calm, secure, and pleasant working environment. We are seeking someone who is experienced in working in teaching teams and has experience working as a special education teacher, you have good communication skills, are flexible, have good collaboration skills, and feel confident in your role. Collaboration in the student health team is based on interdisciplinary expertise and is a crucial factor in creating instruction and a learning environment that can suit all students regardless of background.
