Maintenance Engineer

The role is designed to ensure high operational reliability, technical availability, and cost-efficiency in the company's equipment and facilities. By combining technical analysis with practical improvement work, you will have the opportunity to influence how our products are maintained, developed, and perform over time. As a maintenance engineer, you will work directly under our technical manager, in close collaboration with both designers and the maintenance operations team. The role focuses on analysis, development, and optimization of maintenance strategies as well as providing technical support to maintenance operations. To succeed in this role, you should therefore be a team player with a strong ability to collaborate with different functions within the organization. The position involves some travel, including to our maintenance locations Pitkäjärvi and Aitik. We offer a central role where you contribute to optimizing the service life of wagons and components within our maintenance agreements. The job also includes ensuring proper documentation, traceability, and structure in the maintenance system as well as monitoring and managing spare parts inventory levels linked to maintenance agreements. We would appreciate it if you have experience from a similar position. Your responsibilities will include Data collection and analysis of wheel damage and wheel wear Analysis of operational data, damage, wear, and relevant key metrics Development and monitoring of maintenance plans for wagons and components Investigation and handling of technical deviations related to maintenance assignments Driving improvement measures together with designers and project managers Planning and execution of smaller maintenance projects Ensuring documentation, traceability, and structure in maintenance systems Monitoring and managing spare parts inventory linked to maintenance agreements Qualifications We are looking for someone who has: Documented technical work experience or post-secondary education in engineering, maintenance, or equivalent Good analytical skills and interest in technical problem-solving Ability to work independently and drive issues forward Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written Class B driver's license Meritorious Experience from the rail sector is an advantage, as is knowledge of: EN 1090/ISO 3834 and EN 15085 Entity in Charge of Maintenance (ECM) Lean as a working method Our Offer Kiruna Wagon is a global brand that develops, manufactures, and maintains wagons for rail freight transport. Cleaning Attendant (Part-time) - Early Morning Shift

We're currently looking for a morning person who wants to supplement their income and/or have a part-time position. This works great for students, retirees, and anyone else interested. Work hours are scheduled for 06:00-08:00, every Thursday-Friday (4h/week) with the possibility to fill in during sick leave/vacation if you're available. Cleaning is performed at a customer's office. We're looking for someone who is thorough, punctual, and enjoys maintaining order. You also like being active and using your body at work. You are self-driven, take independent responsibility for your work, and want to provide good service. You must be able to speak and understand Swedish.
