We started in May this year and two-thirds of our team is in place, but we need a few more colleagues—take this opportunity and submit your application today! Evening and Weekend Care Clinic Scania (KHM Scania) is a further development of our current ten local evening and weekend care clinics in Region Scania. By establishing KHM Scania, we want to improve and simplify accessibility for Scania's residents who need unplanned acute primary care in the evenings and on weekends. For this reason, we are centralizing phone triage and booking of visits to our evening and weekend care clinics. KHM Scania's mission consists of two parts, and as a nurse you will have the opportunity to work within both areas. One part consists of centralized triage and advice via telephone as well as booking visits if you, as a nurse, assess that the patient needs clinical assessment. The other part is that KHM Scania is our internal resource team where you, as a nurse, work clinically at our local evening and weekend care clinics in Region Scania. Our central telephone unit is located in newly renovated and fresh facilities at Scania's University Hospital (Sus) Malmö, right by Södervärn. Since KHM Scania's mission is to provide service regionally, we see that there is an opportunity for you as an employee to be stationed at one of our local evening and weekend care clinics in Scania. This is flexible depending on what works best for you and the operation. Since the development of the operation happens gradually, it gives you the opportunity to be involved early, influence, and develop our working methods and routines together with us. Are you curious about being part of this journey and want to know more about us? We welcome your application. 4 position(s). JOB RESPONSIBILITIES At our central telephone unit, you will work with advice and triage via telephone as well as booking visits. In clinical work at our local evening and weekend care clinics, you will perform nursing tasks that are common in acute primary care such as clinic work, triage, and advice. We offer exciting, fast-paced, and varied work where you get to help start and influence a new operation while further developing your role as a nurse. When you start with us, you will receive an introduction to the different parts of the work that we try to adapt based on your experience so that you enter the operation in a safe and good way. Working hours are scheduled for evenings and weekends. If you are interested in a combination position, we see the possibility of offering, for example, positions within 1177 or other appropriate operations in the region that have a need. QUALIFICATIONS You like to take responsibility and make decisions based on your experience and given tools, while valuing and managing work in a team in a good way. You need to have an empathetic and attentive approach where equal treatment is fundamental to you. Additionally, you have a high readiness to act, very good communication skills, and can adjust your planning based on the situation, since the position involves different work tasks at different workplaces. In your team, you create a good work environment through your engagement, curiosity, and positive attitude. We welcome you as a licensed nurse with authorization to practice in Swedish healthcare and with a few years of experience working in acute or primary care. It is an advantage if you have specialist training, are trained as a district nurse, or have previous experience in telephone advice and triage. Swedish language skills equivalent to at least level C1 according to the Council of Europe's scale is a requirement. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.
