The position is an hourly employment in afternoons/evenings and involves working as a homework tutor after school hours at one of our partner schools. You work as part of a team of three tutors, all of whom are college students. You receive training in and work according to our structured approach. Each homework tutoring group consists of 15 students, and together with your colleagues, you are responsible for planning, implementing, and following up on the work. As a homework tutor, you can either work as a regular tutor or as a substitute. As a regular tutor, you work 6 hours per week divided over two scheduled afternoons/evenings (with the possibility for extra substitute shifts). The team works according to three assignments: Meet individuals who have attempted suicide and support them and their loved ones. Support for bereaved individuals after completed suicide. Educate and mentor on suicide. Work Tasks As an employee in Mobile Resources Suicide Prevention, you will have an independent and responsible role with great scope to plan and carry out your interventions based on the individual's needs.
