Production Developer

About the Role As a Production Developer, you will be responsible for mapping and analyzing production flows and processes to create a clear picture of the current state. Using Lean methodology and tools such as Value Stream Mapping (VSM), you will identify improvement opportunities and drive efforts to create more efficient and stable production. You will work closely with the operations team and play a key role in translating ideas and improvement suggestions into concrete results. The assignment involves significant independent responsibility where you are expected to develop solutions together with the organization and independently drive implementation. Example Work Tasks: Map and analyze production processes and flows Conduct current state analyses using VSM and other Lean tools Identify improvement areas within production, quality, and delivery capability Develop and implement standardized work methods and processes Update work instructions, process descriptions, and assembly sequences Conducting improvement initiatives and change projects from start to finish Propose and implement changes in production layout and work methods Ensure that improvements have long-term impact in the organization The position is based in Örebro, and travel within the region may occur. You will be employed as a consultant at Consensus but work on-site at the client. The assignment starts immediately and runs until year-end with the possibility of extension. Who Are You? We are looking for someone with experience developing and improving production operations and who thrives in a role where you combine analysis, structure, and execution. You have solid knowledge of Lean philosophy and experience working with tools such as VSM to identify and realize improvement potential. You are comfortable working independently and feel confident driving change work throughout the entire process, from current state analysis to implementation. We believe you have: Several years of experience in production development, production engineering, or Lean work within manufacturing industry Experience with process mapping and improvement work Good understanding of production flows, material flows, and standardized work Ability to work both strategically and operationally Experience leading and implementing change initiatives As a person, you are proactive, solution-oriented, and structured. You collaborate easily with different functions while being self-driven and motivated by creating concrete results.
