Description We are seeking part-time firefighters for Räddningstjänsten Mälardalen's operations in Skultuna! As emergency response personnel on standby (RiB), you have a role alongside your regular work and respond to emergency calls in the area where you live and work. About the Work Being a part-time firefighter means you live/work and go about your daily life as usual, but during certain weeks you are on standby. The Göta Älv Traffic Area is one of Nobina's 17 traffic areas in Sweden. With approximately 700 employees and 240 buses, we are responsible for operating and developing bus traffic along the Göta Älv in collaboration with our client Västtrafik. We have depots in Vänersborg, Trollhättan, Lilla Edet, Älvängen, Stenungsund, Gothenburg, and Angered. Your Responsibilities Facility operations are responsible for ensuring that we have functional properties and facilities according to our agreements with the property owner. Our bus depots include workshops, wash bays, bus ramps, offices, staff facilities, and charging infrastructure for our electric buses. Your primary responsibility is to ensure that the charging operations for our electric buses function properly, from transformer stations to charging equipment. You will be responsible for maintaining and servicing all technical operational components of the facilities, including oil separators, vehicle washing, and treatment plants. Manage facility operations and maintenance, including inspections and rounds. Receive malfunction reports, address them, follow up, and document. When necessary, order services and coordinate with contractors. Part of the work involves providing media utilities such as compressed air, electricity, district heating, and glycol to both the facility and production. Your days will be spent on everything from repairs and maintenance work, systematic fire safety procedures, malfunction reports, and other operational tasks related to an industrial facility. There is also outdoor work, so it is important that you are comfortable with that. You will be responsible for 4-5 different facilities, which is why a B-class driver's license is required. Personal Qualities and Qualifications Nobina operates many electric buses, and it is very important that charging functions properly. We would therefore like you to have an interest in charging stations and some experience in handling any issues that arise. The role may also involve some administrative work, where structure and attention to detail are important. As a person, you are service-oriented, social, and driven. You work well both independently and with others, and you are willing to take initiative to solve problems and improve work methods. We also see that you are responsible, with the ability to plan and prioritize your tasks efficiently. We are looking for someone with: At least 5 years of experience as a facility technician, preferably from industrial or property companies Training as a facility technician or equivalent B-class driver's license Experience with electrical work and preferably limited electrical certification according to the Swedish Electrical Safety Authority's ELSÄK-FS 2017:4 (advantageous) Very good Swedish language skills and good English language skills, as some communication occurs in English Contact Information and Application The position is full-time.
