ST Doctor at Vårdcentralen Sorgenfri in Malmö

Make a difference. Every day. Vårdcentralen (VC) Sorgenfri is a primary care center centrally located in Malmö with stable staffing and strong team spirit. We have approximately 12,400 registered patients and around 45 employees at the workplace. We work for better health and quality of life for our patients in a multicultural area through good accessibility and high competence. The primary care center is an academic primary care center (AVC), which means that the center has a research mandate and serves as a bridge between clinical work and research. With us, eight specialists in general medicine and six ST doctors work with the support of our administrative team. We have nursing assistants, general nurses, specialist nurses, and district nurses who run their own specialist clinics in areas such as diabetes, asthma/COPD, and elderly care. We have a psychosocial unit with psychologists on duty, as well as a social worker, and we have a dietitian attached to the primary care center. DUTIES As an ST doctor, you will have exciting and challenging work with excellent conditions for broad training in the specialty. Your training will be designed in consultation with your supervisor to make the education as good as possible. At the endoscopy clinic, doctors and nurses work together in teams with surgical and medical focus. We perform a variety of examinations each year such as gastroscopy, colonoscopy, bronchoscopy, ERCP, PEG placements/replacements, and camera examination called enteroscopy.
