Work Tasks You work on behalf of the client and contribute to increased empowerment, security, and control in everyday life. You assist the client in contacts with and between various authorities. The work also includes identifying gaps in the health and care system and contributing to improvements at the local level, for example by promoting collaboration between different actors. Qualifications We are looking for someone with relevant post-secondary education, such as a social worker, behavioral scientist, or nurse with a focus on psychiatry, or other education deemed relevant by the employer. Description of Work Tasks As an hourly substitute in residential care, you will support elderly residents in their daily lives. Work tasks vary depending on the facility and needs, but may include: • personal care (e.g., assistance with hygiene, dressing, and meals) • social support and activities • service tasks (e.g., serving meals, cleaning, and laundry) • documentation according to established procedures (often digital) • handling medication under delegation from a nurse, or tasks from physical and occupational therapists • collaboration with colleagues, nurses, and other professionals You will work daytime and evening shifts. Work time is scheduled on weekdays and every other weekend. You will work at different units as needed by the operations. Nurse/Nursing Assistant, Unit 7, Forensic Psychiatry in Örebro

Forensic Psychiatry in Örebro consists of five units with a total of 43 inpatient beds. We are now seeking staff members for Unit 7 to work day, evening, and weekend shifts. We are looking for someone who finds it exciting to be part of a developing operation that provides high-quality forensic psychiatric care. When you start working with us, you will receive adequate orientation, and during your employment, you will be offered continuous opportunities for professional development. Duties The patients in our care have been transferred to treatment instead of imprisonment and are cared for under the Act on Forensic Psychiatric Care (LRV). Care periods are relatively long because patients have complex issues, and the work is systematic, varied, and stimulating. On Unit 7, patients are further along in the care process, meaning they are in a rehabilitation or discharge phase, and part of the rehabilitation takes place outside the unit. Collaboration with other actors in the care chain is a significant part of our operation. Care is person-centered with the patient in focus, and as a nurse, you are the team member who primarily works with psychiatric nursing care in the patient's treatment and care. You work together with a registered nurse, physician, psychologist, occupational therapist, and social worker. You also need to be able to work independently, be flexible, and have the ability to identify and articulate the specific needs within your area for each individual patient. The tasks are varied, and as a nurse, you work both individually and in group activities with patients. You are also expected to contribute to the operation's development and take responsibility for improving the aspects of care you are responsible for. Qualifications We welcome those who are trained nurses according to the old program structure or are trained nursing assistants within the current program structure. JOB DUTIES The activities are responsible for ensuring that people with functional variation receive support and care to be able to live as independently as possible. Day Activities Within day activities, we offer meaningful occupation for people within the LSS framework that contributes to personal development and promotes participation in society. The activities are conducted with different approaches to suit the individual. Consideration is given based on the person's circumstances. Working hours are scheduled during daytime, Monday through Friday. Short-term/Leisure Care Work with children and youth who have functional variation. Activities are conducted so that basic needs for supervision, rest, movement, activity, meals, and other care adapted to functional variation and age are met. The facility is staffed around the clock; working hours are distributed across day/evening/night/weekends, as well as dedicated night shifts. Personal Assistance Working as a personal assistant means providing support and motivation to the person in their home. The work essentially involves supporting people to live as independently as possible. This can include cooking, assisting with personal hygiene, shopping with the person, etc. Working alone is common when employed as a personal assistant. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for someone who: • Is at least 18 years old • Has education in Care and Health Program, Leisure Activities Leader Program, Children and Leisure Program, Treatment Education Program, or equivalent education. • Experience from the field is an advantage. • Class B driver's license is desirable.
