JOB DUTIES About the job As a specialist nursing assistant at Rosengården Short-Term Residence, you will have the opportunity to combine patient-centered care work with a specialist assignment where you contribute to increased quality, safety, and development for both our patients and your colleagues. At Rosengården, rehabilitation and recovery are in focus. Our patients often come directly from hospitals or from regular housing and stay with us for a limited period with the goal of regaining or maintaining functions, strengthening their independence, and creating the best possible conditions to, for example, return to their home. We work based on a person-centered, salutogenic, and rehabilitative approach where the patient's own resources and goals are at the center. As a specialist nursing assistant, you become an important part of our multidisciplinary team together with nursing assistants, nurses, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, case handlers, and other professions. Job Duties As a specialist nursing assistant, you have a key role in developing and strengthening the rehabilitative approach at Rosengården. You combine regular care work with a specialist assignment where you serve as support, mentor, and knowledge bearer for the work team. In the role, you will, among other things: • work preventively and establish and follow up individual action plans based on the patient's needs, • mentor and coach colleagues in rehabilitative working methods and complex care situations, • contribute to skills development and a learning work environment in the work team, • collaborate with various professions to ensure person-centered and coordinated care, • contribute to quality and improvement work through monitoring of measures, results, and deviations, • support colleagues in, for example, documentation and digital operational systems, • in consultation with the nurse, follow up and contribute to work on health and medical care measures. You need to be able to work independently, take initiative, and drive development work within your specialist area. You have the opportunity to influence the facility's working methods by implementing your knowledge and experience in daily work. You work according to the same working hours arrangement as other employees and participate in regular care work. At the same time, you have a special assignment to contribute to development, mentoring, and quality in the operation. QUALIFICATIONS Specialist nursing assistant with specialist education. Specialist education in one of the following areas: palliative care, multiple diseases, cognitive impairment, psychiatry, or other specialty. Documented work experience in health and social care. Good computer skills and documentation experience. Documentation is an important part of the work, and therefore you need to have good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written. B driver's license. It is meriting if you also have knowledge in Senior Alert, Life Care, and low-affective interaction. You can clearly communicate ideas and visions to engage the team and other stakeholders. You enjoy working in a team and strive for common goals. You have the ability to listen actively to understand others' perspectives and to give and receive constructive feedback. Employment type: Permanent employment.
