JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Do you want to work close to patients, with great variety and the opportunity to make a real difference in people's lives? We are seeking a district nurse/child health nurse interested in working a couple of days per week at the Child Health Center at Krokom Health Center. As a child health center nurse, you work in accordance with the national child health care program on behalf of Region Jämtland Härjedalen. Your tasks may include home visits, health checkups, vaccinations, and parent group meetings. We have close collaboration with our child health center doctors with interdisciplinary visits at certain key ages of children and when specific needs arise. The most important thing is to meet children and their parents with warmth and professionalism and contribute to a secure start in life. You work independently but always have the support of helpful colleagues. We work with the concept of child safety and we also have a family center. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for a licensed nurse with specialist qualifications as a Child Health Nurse or District Nurse. Previous experience working at a child health center is an advantage but not required. However, we do require independent work, good interpersonal skills, good collaboration abilities, multicultural competence, and professional responsibility.
