The Food and Facilities Management Unit employs approximately 130 people. The food unit prepares meals at preschools, schools, special housing facilities, and meal boxes for home care services. The municipality has 38 production and distribution kitchens where approximately 3,700 portions are produced each day. Sånghusvallen Preschool in Byskogen/Ås is a production kitchen that prepares approximately 370 portions daily, of which 250 portions are sent to two other facilities. The work team consists of one kitchen assistant and two chefs with shared leadership, where you are one of the chefs. Your qualifications We are looking for someone who has completed a 3-year upper secondary education in hotel and restaurant management, or equivalent. Alternatively, you have work experience in the profession that the employer considers equivalent. Requirement for good Swedish in both speech and writing. Good computer skills are desirable. As a person, you are flexible, self-directed, thorough, and positive. You collaborate easily and have a solution-focused work approach. With a strong service mindset, great commitment, and good communication, you always put the guest at the center. We place great importance on your personal qualities and ability to work with others.
