Duties The Sahin Laboratory at Stockholm University studies protein dynamics and conformational landscapes of disordered proteins. We use a combination of biophysics, molecular biology, and biochemistry to study proteins' self-assembly and folding patterns and how these are affected by environmental factors. The work tasks primarily involve practical laboratory work, such as production of recombinant proteins, microscopy, and biophysical characterization. Analysis of experimental data, including analysis of cryo-EM data, is also part of the work. There is an opportunity for the candidate to develop their own project. The person hired will have the opportunity to work in a new research group.
