Schedule Planner for the Contact Line Factory About the Company Trafikverket is a state agency responsible for Sweden's long-term infrastructure planning as well as the operation and maintenance of state roads and railways. The agency works toward an accessible Sweden where people and businesses can travel and transport goods in a smooth, safe, and sustainable manner. The position is located at Trafikverket in Gothenburg, at Vikingsgatan 2–4. About the Role Trafikverket is seeking a resource consultant as a sub-project manager for schedule planning at the Contact Line Factory, a national program designed to develop project activities related to the replacement of contact lines, contact line foundations, and the upgrading of the electrical power system. In this role, you will work with qualified program and project planning within Investment West, railway unit 2. The work takes place primarily within the Contact Line Factory, but may also include other railway projects within the unit. As a sub-project manager, you have primary responsibility for the leadership, management, and monitoring of all activities related to schedule planning and will lead the work through all project phases. During production, work may take place on-site/in the field, and travel to projects may occur. Work on weekends, evenings, and nights may be required. The role also includes knowledge transfer in schedule planning and monitoring through training sessions for Trafikverket employees and suppliers. Role and Responsibilities As a sub-project manager for schedule planning, you will, among other things: - Coordinate the implementation of the Contact Line Factory's measures with other business units at Trafikverket - Lead the project and Contact Line Factory's work on schedule planning - Develop procedures and templates for schedule planning within the unit's procurements - Participate in the unit's work with project schedules - Develop training materials and conduct training on schedule planning, procedures, and tools - Develop requirements for schedule planning in procurement documents - Review project managers' and contractors' documentation on planning and schedule planning - Review project managers' and contractors' personnel regarding competence and qualifications - Actively participate in design, construction, and financial meetings - Provide feedback on project managers' and contractors' monitoring and reporting of schedules - Review schedules and other documents and verify/inspect the contractor's work area when work is ongoing in the field - Together with the project manager, ensure that the assigned contract is executed in accordance with the contract and other documents - Be the project's counterpart to project managers' and contractors' schedule planners - Monitor and follow up on compliance with set requirements - Assist in contact with authorities, contractors/project managers, and property owners - Handle deviations from schedule planning requirements within contracts - Monitor schedules, incurred costs, and other orders, and assist with forecasts of the project's/contract's final cost - Participate in procurement - Monitor technology, finance, schedule, quality, environment, workplace safety, and security, and report further - Report project managers'/contractors' progress and status monthly - Maintain contact with base contracts and external parties affected by the project - Coordinate with technical branches and adjacent contracts - Follow up on work in the design and production phases Personal Qualifications To succeed in this role, it is important that you are: - Clear - Goal-oriented - Engaging - Driven - Self-reliant Programs and projects of this type have many stakeholders.
