What do you do as Third Line Tech at Norteam? This is a new role at Norteam – a fantastic opportunity to come in and make your mark on both the role and the organization at large. There is a clear rationale and hypothesis for how the role should be defined, but it will largely be up to you to influence and develop both the role's focus and its interface with colleagues and other departments. Your primary focus is the technical endpoint in our support organization. You are the one who takes over when cases & various technical problems are at their most complex, and you are the one who has the big-picture perspective and can connect separate incidents with each other and work toward solutions to multiple problems simultaneously. You are an important knowledge resource for the entire support team and you actively contribute to raising the quality of our deliverables. You need to be both technically broad and deep, combined with a high degree of personal maturity and the ability to independently take responsibility and drive matters from start to finish. With us you get the opportunity to: Solve advanced technical problems within Microsoft sysadmin, networking, servers and applications Perform root cause analyses and implement long-term solutions Further develop ITIL methodology in our support organization with a focus on Problem & Change Management Work with public cloud solutions within Microsoft, such as Azure and M365 Participate in and lead technical projects around system upgrades, migrations and technical development Document solutions and contribute to our internal knowledge base Be a mentor and technical support for First and Second Line Work with automation and scripting (e.g. PowerShell) Ensure that our customers' IT environments are stable, secure and scalable Who are we looking for? You are an experienced IT technician with several years of experience in support, operations and complex troubleshooting – preferably in Second or Third Line roles, or within IT Operations. You have deep and broad technical expertise, but also a strong sense of service and communication. We are looking for someone whose technical breadth is your specialty. You are also a flexible and unpretentious person who enjoys working at different levels and you love taking on new technical challenges. Your technical expertise allows you to handle complex challenges, and your experience gives you the confidence to make decisions and stand by them. You likely have: Good knowledge of Windows Server, Microsoft 365, Active Directory, Azure/Intune Experience with public cloud solutions and/or virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V) Knowledge of PowerShell or other scripting Experience working with security, backup and access management Experience with network troubleshooting, firewalls, VPN and WiFi Excellent Swedish and English, both spoken and written A big plus if you also have: Understanding of and experience with ITIL and establishing relevant documentation Certifications from Microsoft or similar Experience with Linux, SQL, VDI solutions Other details Work location is Stockholm, Bromma Work mostly from the office, with the option of a hybrid solution Start as soon as possible What do we offer?
