Are you a communicative person with previous experience as a key connector in building and real estate projects? Entrecon Consulting has several inquiries from our clients for senior and experienced project engineers/construction engineers in the building and real estate sector.
We accept applications on a rolling basis and match them with requests from our clients and project owners. You will be employed by Entrecon Consulting and work on assignment at the client's site.
The Assignment
In your role as construction engineer, you are a key person in projects and contribute to keeping everything running smoothly in production together with the project manager and site manager, as well as support functions. You will work broadly and be responsible for production planning, project economics, and contract administration. You will also participate in procurement, attend construction meetings, and have contact with the client's representatives, and handle financial settlements with clients and subcontractors. As a construction engineer, you participate in all stages of the client's building or construction project, from the planning stage until the project is technically completed. You negotiate with subcontractors and suppliers, manage procurement, prepare cost estimates, and are responsible for contract documentation. KMA issues may also be part of your tasks.
Competence
We are looking for someone with at least three years of documented experience in a similar role with experience in:
· Forecasting and costing
· Project economics, schedules, work planning
· Resource allocation, procurement, and change orders
· KMA
You have post-secondary education in construction or have acquired this knowledge through professional experience.
We also see that you have good knowledge of construction law and technical expertise, negotiation experience, and are accustomed to working with profitability and business considerations in focus. Other competencies we value are your ability to build relationships and networks, and that you easily adapt to changing circumstances. We require a valid driver's license (category B) and good IT skills.
