Do you have experience in construction management and a good understanding of regulations and authority requirements? Entrecon Consulting is now seeking a Construction Manager for the subway expansion project - FUT.
You will be employed by Entrecon Consulting and work on assignment at the client's site.
The Assignment
The Construction Manager's role is to support the project in various areas including design, planning, and production. You will have varying work tasks and, most importantly, maintain frequent contact with our organization, external partners, and our contracted construction companies.
Examples of work tasks: - Participate in site walks, inspections, and audits, - prepare documentation for change order work, - monitor and report on the contractor's progress regarding costs, schedules, quality, risks, safety, work environment, environment, and social sustainability, - conduct inspections and spot checks, - review the contractor's work preparations, execution, self-inspections, and ensure compliance with agreed terms. Reviews should also be conducted against specified requirements, developed design solutions, etc., - ensure required authority permits, building approvals, and compliance with conditions in other agreements and that other necessary prerequisites are met.
Qualifications
The Construction Manager should have the following experience/competencies: - At least a technical high school diploma or equivalent, - documented professional competency/training in the requested technical field, - at least three (3) years of experience as a construction manager or project manager for equivalent projects in the requested technical field, - documented knowledge of contract law and technical regulations, e.g., AMA, - all construction managers must be able to pass security clearance, - good language skills in Swedish and English (spoken and written), - Bas-U and Bas-P competency.
Meritorious experience and competencies: - experience working in tunnel environments, - experience participating in inspections, - experience with testing and commissioning, - experience working with traffic authority rail facilities or facility components, - experience working in production, - experience working with steel structures
