Duties The Sahin Laboratory at Stockholm University studies protein dynamics and conformational landscapes of disordered proteins. We use a combination of biophysics, molecular biology, and biochemistry to study proteins' self-assembly and folding patterns and how these are affected by environmental factors. The work tasks primarily involve practical laboratory work, such as production of recombinant proteins, microscopy, and biophysical characterization. Analysis of experimental data, including analysis of cryo-EM data, is also part of the work. There is an opportunity for the candidate to develop their own project. The person hired will have the opportunity to work in a new research group. The work takes place in a dynamic and collaborative environment at the Department of Biochemistry and Biophysics at Stockholm University. You will work with the isolation and programming of primary immune cells to develop new treatment strategies for difficult-to-treat cancer. A central part of the work involves evaluating the therapeutic potential of the programmed immune cells using molecular and cellular biological methods. The work includes tissue preparation and cell isolation, cloning, PCR, flow cytometry, ELISA, and cell culture, as well as handling of primary human and murine samples. About the Role As a machine repair technician, you will work with operation, service, and preventive maintenance of our automated packaging machines. You will troubleshoot, fix, and prevent simple technical problems to ensure stable and well-functioning production. You'll be responsible for the lower grades with two parallel classes in grades F–2 and three parallel classes in grades 3 onwards for the coming school year.
