Nature Guide with Development Responsibility at Stiftelsen Skånska Landskap
Stiftelsen Skånska Landskap was established in 2004 with a mission to protect, preserve, restore, and develop natural and cultural environments while promoting active outdoor recreation. Stiftelsen Skånska Landskap manages over 11,000 hectares of forest and other land across a large part of Scania. We conduct forestry and care for the open landscape while preserving and improving conditions for biodiversity. We manage our forests with recreation in mind and implement measures that benefit the climate. We have a mandate from Region Scania to manage and coordinate recreational trails. We also have a mandate from Region Scania to make our land accessible to visitors. We do this primarily through our 19 hiking areas throughout Scania. Here we offer trails of various types with varying levels of service. "Nature for All" is our vision and means we want to attract more visitors to nature. Outdoor activities and physical exercise in our areas are a way to improve public health, and the public health perspective is particularly important to us. Research shows that people benefit from spending time in nature. Those who have a natural relationship with nature also typically feel greater commitment to our environment. Therefore, we want to inspire more people to venture into Scanian nature. Outdoor pedagogy is a pedagogical approach that aims at interaction between experience and reflection based on nature experiences. It builds on what exists at the location—what you see and experience yourself and together with others. Learning is experience-based and relationship-building with nature. One of our largest projects is Fifth Graders on Scåneleden. It is funded by Region Scania and contributes to the Regional Development Board's goal of "Better Health for More" and offers schools a day in nature to improve the physical and mental health of children and young people. Through this initiative, we create a foundation for good living and nature habits as adults, and the long-term effects and societal benefits are expected to lead to future savings through improved public health. During a day on Scåneleden, students experience Scanian nature and learn about the landscape, everyman's right, outdoor life, and nature as physical activity. During the day, students learn to build and make fire, which also involves some form of outdoor cooking or heating water over an open fire or on a camp stove. At lunch, we offer embers for grilling. 1 position(s). JOB RESPONSIBILITIES As a nature guide with us, you have a key role in developing and implementing our outdoor pedagogical activities. You work both operatively in the field with groups and strategically with planning, development, follow-up, and reporting. You become part of a team working with an existing colleague who works with our outdoor pedagogical activities and also collaborate with other nature guides who work with us on a contractual basis. An important part of our activities and your assignment is the regionally funded project Fifth Graders on Scåneleden. Here you work with planning and implementation, but also with expanding and continuing to develop the project to ensure that content and format are relevant and engaging to reach today's generation of children and young people. You also work with other assignments in our outdoor pedagogical activities to reach different target groups and make it possible for more people to experience nature. Several outdoor pedagogical projects today are directed toward elementary and middle school students, SFI students, involuntarily isolated individuals, and seniors. Your role has many collaboration points, both with internal functions within Stiftelsen Skånska Landskap and externally with Region Scania, municipalities, schools in Scania, cultural organizations, and other associations, networks, and companies. You are based at our office at Fulltofta Nature Center outside Hörby but also work in our other hiking areas throughout Scania. QUALIFICATIONS To be suitable for this position, you have university and/or college education in natural sciences and pedagogy or another educational background combined with professional experience that the employer deems equivalent. You have a good ability to express yourself in Swedish in both speech and writing and good knowledge of spoken English. We are looking for someone with several years of experience working in outdoor pedagogical activities, where a significant part of your work has been directed toward children and young people. A valid driver's license (Category B) is required for this position, and it is an asset if you have experience driving with a trailer. You have previous experience working with schools and pedagogical experience from working with various target groups. You need to have a good understanding of and interest in the connection between public health and time in nature. If you also have in-depth experience or education in outdoor life, gardening, cultural history, nature and wildlife, as well as climate and sustainability competence, this is an asset. We are looking for someone who is creative, innovative, and development-oriented, as activity development will be an important part of your assignment, creating new forms of collaboration and transforming new ideas into actual activities. It is essential that you have pedagogical ability and can adapt your communication to different target groups. You have an interest and willingness to both teach and continue developing yourself. Since this role involves many contact points and much collaboration, both within and outside the organization, you have a good ability to build strong relationships with different stakeholders and create solid partnerships. You are organized, solution-oriented, results-focused, and thrive in a role where you can apply your creativity both in situations requiring quick decisions in daily work and in long-term strategic work. Nurse, Psychiatric Inpatient Care, Department S91/Detoxification Unit
Interested in addiction medicine? Would you like to be part of a flexible and patient-centered operation? The Psychiatric Clinic offers rewarding and exciting clinical work, breadth and deepening of expertise, and numerous development opportunities for all professional groups. Our Offering The Psychiatric Clinic in Linköping is a university clinic with many different operations. The clinic consists of outpatient and inpatient care, a detoxification unit, and an acute unit. In addition, we have mobile services: mobile outpatient team and prehospital acute psychiatric mobility (psychiatric ambulance). You will find our operations in the newly built Tinnerbäckshuset on the hospital grounds. Department S91 is a general psychiatric department with addiction medicine as its main focus. It primarily treats individuals who need treatment for alcohol withdrawal. The work includes both assessment of withdrawal symptoms and long-term planning to support sustained sobriety and drug freedom. At the Detoxification Unit (TNE), patients who require medically supervised detoxification are cared for. The unit operates as outpatient care where patients come both by appointment and acutely. Comorbid somatic conditions are common, which means that medical-technical procedures are part of daily work. We assess and treat acute withdrawal, where assessment of vital parameters and clinical evaluation are fundamental to medical treatment. Addiction is a chronic disease characterized by periods of remission and relapse, and can be treated both acutely during the withdrawal phase and long-term to prevent relapse. Treatments are often a combination of psychosocial support and medication, which requires close collaboration with, among others, addiction clinics and municipalities. Job Description As a nurse, you have a central and supervisory role on the department and TNE, where you are responsible for daily tasks and leading nursing care work. In addition to main tasks such as medication distribution, participation in rounds, reporting, and social planning, a large part of the work focuses on supporting and working closely with patients in their individual care needs. Your work is multifaceted and enables a high degree of personal creativity, as we always strive to adapt care to each patient's specific circumstances, resources, and skills. You work together with the patient to identify their strengths and support them in managing the challenges that come with addiction. This means you often need to find individual solutions to meet the patient's needs in the best way. The supervisory role also means you are responsible for coordinating and collaborating with other professional groups within the care team to ensure the patient receives holistic and continuous care. This collaboration takes place not only within the department but also in relation to external actors. In summary, the work is both challenging and rewarding, where your ability to lead and adapt care interventions to each patient's unique needs is central. Development - Our nurses want to develop, and the clinic has therefore invested in strengthened nursing expertise. In recent years, we have allowed our nurses to take responsibility and drive the development of nursing care and work to make the latest research understandable and applicable in our clinical practice. For some time, we have been working from a recovery-oriented approach, and we see how care has moved from a more traditional approach to being driven by increasingly flexible and patient-centered care where the patient's experience and needs are always our starting point. This in turn makes everyday work more meaningful and developmental. All staff working in the addiction units receive training in Motivational Interviewing (MI) as a tool to use in conversations with patients. As an employee, you are offered both internal and external training. You also have the opportunity to obtain paid further education as a specialist nurse in psychiatry through your employer, with an additional salary increase after completing the training. About You We are looking for you who are a licensed nurse. Experience in psychiatric care and/or specialist nurse education is considered a merit, but we also encourage you without psychiatric experience to apply. With the right curiosity and a desire to do the best for the patient, you will develop and learn together with us! As a new nurse, you are offered personally adapted introduction and mentorship by an experienced nurse for as long as needed. We offer present leadership and you will have support from your immediate supervisor who is easily accessible in the department. We are looking for you who have the ability to see both the patient's needs and resources. You are driven by a patient-centered approach and value flexibility and creativity in nursing work. You thrive in an environment where you have the opportunity to use and develop your personal qualities and resources, while contributing to the continuous development of our operations. You have a holistic perspective where both somatic and psychiatric expertise are important, and you are drawn to varied work that includes both outpatient work via TNE and acute psychiatric/addiction medicine inpatient care. Application and Employment The position involves rotation assignments. Do you have questions about the position, or would you like to visit our inpatient care? Call or email recruitment officer Oskar Bäck or ward manager Camilla Ringholm; contact information can be found below. Before employment in patient-facing work within Region Östergötland, you will be asked to complete a health declaration. We warmly welcome your application!
