Uttersberg School is located in Krokek, a larger community in Kolmården. We have approximately 350 children from preschool through grade 3, with about 53 staff members and two school leaders. The recreational center is important for giving our students the best foundation for their future, and they have the opportunity to try, reconsider, and reinforce their knowledge through experience-based learning. This fall, we will be participating in the Swedish National Agency for Education's Language Initiative in recreational centers, which aims to strengthen students' language development, reading interest, and reading ability to improve students' knowledge of the Swedish language. During winter, we have access to sledding hills and ice skating rinks. Your responsibilities As a recreational center teacher, you will plan and be responsible, together with colleagues, for instruction in the recreational center. You will be responsible for planning, implementing, and evaluating recreational center activities. Activities are planned based on three thematic areas: health, sustainable development, and technology. Within these areas, there is a special focus on language and communication. Students' ideas and interests within each thematic area are utilized in various ways. You will also be part of a team with all staff in a grade level to collaborate on students' entire day. Who are you? We are seeking a certified teacher with qualifications to work in a recreational center. If you have previous experience working in a recreational center, we see this as an asset.
