The Care Administration in Solna Municipality is responsible for planning, managing, and monitoring the municipality's health and social care operations. The administration ensures that residents receive high-quality services, that legislation is followed, and that operations are developed based on needs, quality, and efficiency.
Humanoria Care and Social Services is Solna Municipality's municipal provider within elderly care, support for persons with disabilities, municipal health and medical care, and preventive services. As our current Home Care Area Manager approaches retirement, we are now seeking a successor to lead and further develop the operations with responsibility for eight home care teams, including one team responsible for alarm systems and night patrols. Home care in Solna is currently undergoing a comprehensive transformation where focus is shifting from detailed control to increased flexibility, trust, and personalized services. As Area Manager, you will have a key role in leading and implementing this development.

What Does the Work Involve?
As Area Manager for Home Care, you have overall responsibility for operations, quality, finances, and working environment for eight home care units, including one responsible for alarm systems and nighttime home care services. You lead the home care area together with engaged unit managers and are responsible for ensuring that operations are conducted in accordance with applicable legislation, political objectives, and mandates. You also participate in the leadership team for Humanoria Care and Social Services, where you contribute to strategic development and share responsibility for achieving overall goals.
Who Are We Looking For?
We are seeking a confident, clear, and development-oriented leader with the ability to inspire, create engagement, and achieve results through others. You have documented experience leading a large and complex operation and a strong interest in developing and strengthening home care services. Through present and strategic leadership, you create conditions for high quality, good working environment, and operations that meet future needs.
You Have:
A university degree as a social worker, behavioral scientist, or other education that the employer considers equivalent.
Strong knowledge and experience in leading and developing home care services.
Several years of experience in management positions within care and social services.
Experience with budget, operational, and personnel responsibility.
Good knowledge of relevant legislation and regulations governing operations.
Experience in quality and development work.
Good knowledge of workplace issues and sustainable working conditions.
We consider it meritorious if you have experience leading in a politically-governed organization, experience with transformation and development work, and experience leading through managers.
We place great emphasis on your personal qualities.
