You lead and coordinate the planning work, ensure reliable schedules, and create decision-making materials that help the project carry out the right activities at the right time. The Lead Planner Role As a Lead Planner, you lead and quality assure the project's planning process. You are responsible for establishing, developing, monitoring, and using schedules as an active management tool throughout the project's various phases. The role involves close collaboration with other key functions within the project. Your responsibilities include: - Have primary responsibility for the project's schedule management and schedule monitoring, including progress, forecasts, and deviation management - Lead, coordinate, and quality assure the work on the project's scheduling in collaboration with project planners and other key functions - Ensure that schedules are created and structured according to the project's common working methods, WBS, and NCC's processes - Analyze relationships between time, production, procurement, design, finances, and contractual obligations - Identify, analyze, and report time-related risks, opportunities, and consequences for the project's execution - Prepare clear decision-making and forecast materials for project management, management group, and customer in collaborative projects - Contribute to the development of working methods, tools, and processes within planning, for example through critical path analyses, alternative scenarios, and progress monitoring - Support project management on issues related to contract time, change management, and time-related commercial matters. Your Profile as Lead Planner We are looking for someone with experience leading and driving planning work in complex environments, preferably in large construction and/or infrastructure projects. You understand how the schedule affects the project's finances, resource planning, procurement, design, and production. You have strong analytical skills and can translate detailed information into well-founded decisions that support the business's overall objectives. At the same time, you have the ability to see the big picture, identify connections, and foresee the consequences of different choices. You have a good understanding of production flows and thrive in a role where you can create structure, coordinate different stakeholders, and contribute to keeping the project on the right track throughout execution. You have excellent communication skills and the ability to engage others in planning work, create alignment between different functions, and convey complex information in a clear and pedagogical manner. You communicate fluently in Swedish and English, both verbally and in writing. Experience with Primavera P6 is an advantage. About Division Building Large Projects The Division Building Large Projects develops and manages complex construction projects with order values in the range of 1.5 billion or more.
