Work Duties Together with the Unit Manager, you as Assistant Unit Manager will plan, organize, and lead work in the unit. As Assistant Unit Manager, you will: Contribute to development matters and drive improvement work Plan competency development for the unit and staff members Follow up on operational goals Together with the Unit Manager and staff, you will shape the unit's working methods, procedures, and routines based on applicable legislation Other administrative work as needed Approver in the personnel administration systems Heroma and Proceedo Schedule planning Recruitment, employment, and onboarding The position also includes clinical patient work Together with the Unit Manager, you will participate in workplace meetings, other meetings, and planning of organizational days. You will actively contribute to promoting a good psychosocial work environment in the unit by maintaining regular contact with the staff. You will substitute for the Unit Manager in certain decision-making matters during their absence.
