About Unika Henriksdal Unika Henriksdalsringen group residence in Stockholm is located close to beautiful natural areas, public transportation, and grocery stores. We work to build evidence-based practice through systematic monitoring and evaluation of individual goals. Our overarching goal is to develop each person's independence based on their own abilities. The facility has six unique apartments of approximately 45 square meters with open floor plans. All apartments have different layouts but each has an associated patio. The group residence has a common area with a living room and kitchen with dining space. A laundry room is available, and all apartments have their own storage. We offer activities every weekend where residents themselves help plan what will happen. We offer both individual and group activities based on preferences and needs. Once a week we hold a resident meeting where all residents are welcome to participate. During these meetings we discuss current topics and issues where residents can share their opinions. Current topics may include weekend activities, meal plans, holidays, or other matters affecting the operation. In the facility, staff are available 24 hours a day. A coordinator is present at the unit to be responsible for daily management in close consultation with the operations manager. About the Support Assistant Role As a support assistant you will work to provide individually tailored support to people with functional variations, with the goal of promoting their independence and well-being in everyday life. You will support residents in their daily routines and activities, based on their needs and abilities, and always use their personal implementation plan as your starting point. We work with a salutogenic and educational approach, where we start from each individual's unique strengths and resources. The goal is for residents to achieve as much independence as possible and be able to live a meaningful life with high quality of life. As a support assistant you work based on clarifying pedagogy and low-affect interaction to create safety and predictability in residents' daily lives. At the same time, we have a strong focus on working professionally and efficiently within the facility's resources and budget. Qualifications You are relationship-oriented, calm, stable, and can maintain a realistic perspective on situations that arise in daily work. You have good collaboration skills and relate to others in an attentive way, and enjoy working with others. You are an independent, humble, and responsible person who is passionate about care work and can see the individual's needs. We place great emphasis on personal suitability. Requirements: Very good ability in Swedish, both spoken and written. Good computer skills, experience with documentation. Experience working in care and support, primarily in LSS services. Secondary education such as child and youth program, care and support program, or post-secondary education such as support pedagogue, social pedagogue, or university education in a relevant field. Desirable if you also have: Experience in psychiatry, AAC, and low-affect interaction. Worked with complex support needs. Experience with externalizing behavior. Experience with self-harming behavior. Experience with Prader-Willi syndrome. Driver's license. Employment Terms Employment form: The position is permanent, with a six-month probationary period. Employment level: 75.34% with work every other weekend. Working hours: Morning, day, evening, weekends. Start date: By agreement, we view favorably if you can start soon.
