Requirements for the position: Music conservatory or other education that the employer deems relevant for the assignment. Experience teaching and performing in various musical styles. Good reading and writing skills in Swedish. Driver's license Meritorious for the position: Experience working with children with functional variations, including NPF. Digital competence to integrate modern tools into instruction. Ability to teach other subjects/secondary instruments. You also have experience with pedagogical work with children and young people. You have strong pedagogical skills where you adapt your communication to those you're working with. About the workplace The music school's mission is to offer instrumental and vocal instruction individually, in groups, or in ensembles for children and youth in preschool class, primary school, or upper secondary school. The music school offers courses in singing, instrumental play, rhythm, and music creation, among other subjects. The goal is to offer both breadth and depth with low barriers and high quality, and to give Karlshamn's children and youth the opportunity to grow both musically and personally.
