Are you an experienced Business Controller who thrives in a business-focused role where you can combine analysis, business management, and strategic support? We're now looking for a Senior Business Controller for a consulting assignment where you play a key role in ensuring quality and continuity in financial management during a parental leave. This is an assignment for someone who can quickly get up to speed with new operations, create value through qualified analyses, and function as a proactive partner to managers and leadership. About the Assignment As a Senior Business Controller, you'll have broad responsibility for financial management and business monitoring. You'll work closely with the business and contribute analyses, decision-making materials, and advice that support the organization's business decisions. This is a consulting assignment through Adecco starting 2026-10-12. The assignment is expected to run until 2027-09-15. The position is 100% and requires approximately 70% on-site presence. The work location is at Arlanda. Travel may be required as part of the role. Your main responsibilities include: Responsibility for monthly, quarterly, and annual closings within your area of responsibility. Prepare, coordinate, and follow up on budgets, forecasts, and business plans. Analyze financial results and key metrics, and identify variances and improvement opportunities. Function as qualified financial support to managers and leadership. Prepare and present reports, analyses, and decision-making materials. Participate in development and improvement initiatives within financial management, reporting, and process development. Contribute to digitalization, automation, and efficiency improvements of the finance function. We're looking for someone with: At least 5-10 years of experience as a Business Controller, Senior Controller, or similar role. Solid experience with closing procedures, budgeting, forecasting, and financial monitoring. Strong analytical skills and experience translating financial information into business recommendations. Experience working closely with business units and managers in an advisory business partner role. Very good skills in Excel and experience with ERP and BI systems. Ability to quickly get up to speed with new operations, processes, and working methods. Very good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written. Ability to work independently, in a structured manner, and results-oriented. Meritorious Experience: It's particularly positive if you have experience with: Change management and process development within the finance area. Digitalization, automation, and data-driven analysis. Power BI or similar analysis and visualization tools. AI-based tools in finance, reporting, or business management.
