Responsibilities The position is 40–50% full-time equivalent, where you are responsible for career and educational guidance for students in grades F–9. You guide and inform students both individually and in groups regarding upcoming academic and career choices and are expected to challenge assumptions and strengthen students' ability to make conscious and well-founded choices. You work together with educators and the student welfare team in a promotional and preventive mission to increase motivation, good student welfare, and strengthened decision-making skills. Your tasks include administration related to upper secondary school admissions, planning and follow-up of PRAO in grade 8, and revision of the school's local career and educational guidance plan. The role includes close collaboration with the school's staff and communication with guardians. As part of Sollentuna Municipality, you are part of an active network of career and educational advisors and have access to support from the municipality's SYV coordinator, which provides excellent opportunities for experience sharing and professional development. Qualifications As a person, you are relationship-building and find it easy to build trust with students, guardians, and colleagues. You work in a structured manner and have the ability to independently drive matters forward. At the same time, you have strong collaboration skills and enjoy working with others. You are communicative and express yourself well in both speech and writing, adapted to different target groups. Requirements Degree from the Career and Educational Advisor Program. Good digital competence and experience using digital tools. Meritorious Work experience as a career and educational advisor. In this recruitment, we place great emphasis on personal suitability.
