Among other achievements, Sweden's first professorship in Disaster Medicine was established at Linköping University. Disaster medicine is a clinical subject traditionally rooted in trauma surgery. The research profile in media and communication studies is broad and encompasses questions related to digitalization, discourse studies, the role of media in society, and organizational communication.
