You will lead and support the social workers in their work of conducting qualified investigations, making decisions, and following up on measures according to legislation (SoL). You may also need to support other employees when another group leader is absent and need to supervise the work group for young adults and adults with substance abuse. Social psychiatry in Säffle consists of several services that together offer support based on the individual's needs. In this role, you will meet people with mental health issues, harmful substance use or addiction, and comorbidity. Qualifications We seek someone with post-secondary education with a focus on social or educational work, such as a social pedagogue, educational therapist, or treatment assistant. Other education that the employer deems equivalent may also be relevant. It is an advantage if you have experience working in social psychiatry, psychiatry, substance abuse care, or other services targeting people with complex support needs. Experience with recovery-oriented work and knowledge of, for example, Motivational Interviewing (MI), Independent Living (ESL), RACT, and low-affect behavior management are also considered advantageous. Since documentation is part of your work tasks, you need to be able to express yourself well in Swedish, both verbally and in writing.
