Your Assignment As a unit manager at the Cyber Security Office, you'll be part of the cyber operations division. The office's mission is to strengthen protection against sophisticated IT attacks from abroad targeting Sweden and to conduct signals intelligence against sophisticated cyber threat actors. By identifying and tracking the actors behind attacks, we create knowledge about methods and motives. We translate this into intelligence reports and various forms of support in technical cybersecurity for our clients. In this way, we help strengthen Sweden's cybersecurity. As a unit manager, you are the first-line manager and participate in the office's management group where you together drive the development of operations. You lead a group of specialists and create conditions for operational development based on the office's goals. In addition, you establish and develop relationships with internal partners and external clients. The role involves overall personnel and work environment responsibility, including management, planning, monitoring, budgeting, regulations, competency development, and recruitment. Work is performed at FRA's facilities on Lovön. Your Qualifications We are looking for someone with: Academic education in a relevant field, for example IT, systems science, political science, or equivalent experience through work experience Experience with management and personnel responsibility Strong ability to express yourself in speech and writing in Swedish and English.
