We are expanding with an additional occupational therapist—are you the one we're looking for? Salem Rehab is an operation within the Stockholm County Healthcare Region with a mandate to provide primary care rehabilitation with a specialized assignment for neuro services in outpatient care. Work tasks: Occupational therapy tasks within the primary care assignment are highly varied. In our base assignment, we conduct home visits where we assess assistive device needs and fit assistive equipment, perform activities of daily living (ADL) assessments and issue certificates as the basis for housing adaptation applications, and conduct basic memory assessments in patients' homes. Home visits are performed both as a team and individually. In the clinic, we work with hand rehabilitation and work capacity evaluations; clinic work can be both individual and group-based. In the Neuro Team, you'll meet patients from age 18 with various types of neurological conditions. In the Neuro Team, we emphasize teamwork greatly, with shared goals and close collaboration within the team. You will collaborate with other care providers at the unit as well as with family members and other stakeholders, and you will supervise students.
