As a Production Product Engineer, you are part of a larger department of 20 employees with broad responsibility for product engineering, process engineering, production planning, test development, logistics development, customs, trade compliance, and project management within industrialization. You will collaborate with most functions within your own department but especially cross-functionally with, among others, the production team and R&D, which makes this a great role for someone who enjoys collaborating with a large network of functions and people. Responsibilities Production within the PG divisions is currently divided into different areas – Component Production of Electronics, Final Assembly, Spare Parts Production, R&D Production, and Warehouse, and you will work towards one of these areas as the department you belong to functions as a support function to production. You work to ensure that the product meets technical requirements throughout the manufacturing chain with a focus on the internal production process. You function as an important link between design and production by reviewing new introductions before they are implemented in production. You contribute with an understanding of both the product and the manufacturing process. The role also involves actively working to develop and improve these over time, with the vision of seamless production during product introductions.
