The Fire and Rescue Service in Strömstad Municipality operates two fire stations, one in Strömstad and one in Skee. JOB DUTIES In Strömstad Municipality, firefighters, also called on-call rescue service personnel, are employed part-time in our rescue service. This means that as a firefighter, you have a regular employer and work on-call as a firefighter alongside your main job. With us, you are on-call as a firefighter every fourth week, which means that if an alarm comes in during your on-call period, you leave your workplace, your training session, or your Friday plans to respond as a firefighter. Work as a firefighter is varied and can range from fires and traffic accidents to providing medical care while awaiting an ambulance. Your Assignment Lillvägen Group Living Facilities consists of two residential settings according to the Swedish Act Concerning Support and Service for Persons with Certain Functional Impairments (LSS) located centrally in Älta. The facilities consist of two houses located close to each other, each with seven residents. Parking is available at the facilities. The group living facilities are home to adults of varying ages with intellectual disabilities; some residents have significant care needs, and we therefore see that you have experience with similar work. Both operations share an assistant operations manager and a coordinator. As a support assistant, you will work providing support and services to residents based on their individual needs. This means you will help create conditions for safety, personal development, and good living conditions.
