Your Assignment Lillvägen Group Living Facilities consists of two residential settings according to the Swedish Act Concerning Support and Service for Persons with Certain Functional Impairments (LSS) located centrally in Älta. We are seeking support assistants for both operations, which were previously privately run and are now being taken over by Nacka Municipality. The facilities consist of two houses located close to each other, each with seven residents. Parking is available at the facilities. The group living facilities are home to adults of varying ages with intellectual disabilities; some residents have significant care needs, and we therefore see that you have experience with similar work. Both operations share an assistant operations manager and a coordinator. As a support assistant, you will work providing support and services to residents based on their individual needs. This means you will help create conditions for safety, personal development, and good living conditions. In this role, the focus is always on the residents; we therefore adapt based on their needs and respect their wishes and preferences. Daily documentation is an important part of the work to ensure good quality and safety. Work is scheduled during day, evening, weekend, and on-call night shifts. The position involves varied tasks including support and services with: Leisure activities Cleaning Personal care Hygiene tasks Medication management Your Experience To be considered for this position, you must have: Completed education in care and nursing/children and leisure with courses in disability/special education Experience with autism and cognitive impairment among adults Experience with low-arousal interaction approaches Computer and documentation skills Very good Swedish language skills, both spoken and written Good physical ability If you additionally have training and/or experience in IBIC, AAC, visual communication strategies, and self-injurious behaviors, this is highly advantageous. You are experienced and have the ability to work independently with residents and feel confident with the responsibility this involves. You also have strong collaboration skills and are a team player.
